King County Library Redmond in-person Tutoring
At one point in August our team will come to the King County Library at Redmond to help students with questions in STEM subjects or who want to learn advanced topics. We are here to teach and help you out! With our organization being online to ease the access of transporation, this in-person event is to help out some students who like the in-person library learning environment and equally have an interest and urge to learn and expand their knowledge! Introduction to Programming and Python Camp
Learn basic programming concepts in the coding language known as python. By the end of the course you or your child will have created a finished python game. This is a group course led by multiple tutors.

One on One Tutoring
If you are in need of academic support or has a passion to gain more knowledge in a specific topic in the STEM field, this is for you! You can come with any questions during class and one of the tutors that are assigned to you would love to help and see your success!

Introduction to Algebra Camp
Algebra 1 being the first high school math course which can be taken in middle school for students who are advanced, start learning introductory concepts in Algebra that can put you a step up in tackling subjects like Algebra I and studying that subject early in middle school! If you are in the seventh or eight grade already preparing for this rigorous course ahead of time can put you a step above your peers!
Prerequisite: Basic Math Skills and Rules

Introduction to Chemistry Camp
Chemistry is a course many high schoolers take but learning the fundamentals of chemistry including the basics would be a great head start: periodic table, chemical bonds, chemical reactions, etc! In this course students will learn the basic stepping stone concepts of chemistry to enter this course with an eased mindset when the time comes.

Creative Writing Camp
Writing is used everywhere: school, college applications, and as a hobby. Creating a hobby like creative writing can positively impact your future by developing strong skills in the writing in school and outside of school. In this camp students will learn how to write personal narratives and stories that can portray imagery and use of rhetorical choices to its readers.

Introduction to Java Camp
Java is one of the most widely known and used programming languages in the current world . In this camp, students will learn the basic concepts of Java and what is used in Java to create specific types of outputs. By the end of the course, students will create a project using Java!

Advanced Java Camp
For students already in the realm of coding and want to expanding their knowledge in coding Java programs. This course is the right fit for you! We will be teaching studnets advanced concepts in Java that can be utilized to create advanced programs.

Advanced Python Camp
For students who have experience coding and already know about python but want to expand their knowledge in Python, this is the right course for you! Our tutors will be mentoring students advanced concepts in python and end the course with an advanced program.

Introduction to Biology
Biology is the study of life. By the end of this course students will be able to accurately explain the characteristics of living things. Additionally, learn about the ecosystem and define the human impact on the environment. In a brief glance, students will learn about living and non living things.
